Officina Maltoni

Enrico Maltoni needs little introduction among enthusiasts of this field. He started collecting lever machines in 1988 at the age of only 18 and was one of the first in this sector. Like many, he was initially attracted by the charm of these machines, but over the years he has also become increasingly passionate about the technicalities and their history. He now has an historical archive with over 25'000 documents, which since 2012, together with many of his machines, are part of the Mumac museum. In 2013, he also opened his eponymous workshop, which restores these machines to the highest quality standards.
